Picture Perfect by Jodi Picoult

"Picoult's writing is intricate and powerful. The backstory provided for each character is heartbreaking in their own way. This is not a "beach read" so be prepared to take breaks while reading this book." - A. Green

Black Buck by Mateo Askaripour

"This novel tells a bizarre story of a young black man who rises to the top of a sales team in a cult-like corporation. As he gains financial power, he sacrifices his relationships with loved ones and explores life in the fast lane with alcohol, drugs, and sex. The book is a tangled mess; the wild ride made me wonder why I was reading it." - D. Zelamsky

Out of the Corner: A Memoir by Jennifer Grey

"Jennifer Grey is the daughter of Joel Grey and starred in the movie Dirty Dancing. She writes about her early life, as a rebellious teen, and her current life in a way we all can relate to. She was engaged to both Matthew Broderick and Johnny Depp, and she won DWTS Season 11. It is a well-written book revealing her own truth. She has been through both happy and sad days like all of us." - L. Caran

A Deadly Danish (Beachfront Bakery) by Fiona Grace

"Continuing with my summer beach themed reading the 4th book in the series again is a Fiona Grace cozy mystery with enough silliness to make it a fun read and twist to keep you guessing who the killer is. The cast of characters and love interests keep you invested. And the flavor combos at the different eateries are a bonus." - F. Schwarz

A Villa in Sicily: Orange Groves and Vengeance by Fiona Grace

"Started to read this series because my family is from Sicily. I’ve continued to read these books because the premise is silly and I love the description of the Sicilian culture. The plots are twisted enough to keep me guessing. Grace even finds a way to bring the mafia into these stories." - F. Schwarz
