Get a Library Card In-Person

When applying for a Half Hollow Hills Library card at the Public Service Desk, an applicant must show proof that he/she lives, attends school or pays property taxes in the district. To apply for a card, contact the library at 631-421-4530.

What's a Digital Library Card? A Digital Library Card is library membership that provides immediate access to the Library's digital resources and services, including:

  • eBooks & Audiobooks
  • Videos and Music
  • Magazines & Newspapers
  • Research Databases
  • Study Help, Homework Help, Test Prep

Sign up for a Digital Library Card to get immediate access to Suffolk County's digital resources and services. Residents of the Half Hollow Hills School District can apply online for a temporary library card for up to 30 days. Go to livebrary.com/getacard to apply.

Already Have a Library Card?

Just a reminder, your library card expires every three years (homeowner) or yearly (renter). Make sure you are up-to-date. Visit the Public Service Desk at either building to renew so you won't miss out on your favorite services.
