Event Details
“Stand Up, Speak Out” is an interactive presentation that empowers teens to become upstanders in their communities. Teens are introduced to the concept of civic engagement and taught how to identify different roles they can take when faced with injustice. Teens will learn about a diverse group of youth activists and brainstorm how they can take action in their day-to-day lives. Earn one hour of community service. Program for grades 6-12. District Residents Only.
This program is hosted by the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center.
