Presented by St. John’s University Adjunct Professor Howard Ehrlich in partnership with the Greens' Men's Group. Made possible by a grant from the New York Council for the Humanities.
In a six part series, through the use of fifteen selected movie excerpts, examine: how each film treated our presidents in respect to accuracy, whether the portrayal was balanced or bias, whether the correct actor was chosen and how the movie was received by the public and the critics. The presidents selected for this series are: George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. Today's lecture will be on Kennedy & Johnson.
