Under the Oscar winning direction of Francis Ford Coppola, a cast of relatively unknown actors including Al Pacino, Diane Keaton, James Caan, & Robert Duvall, and headlined by Marlon Brando as Don Corleone, The Godfather chronicles the gangster lifestyle of the Corleone Family spanning the years 1945 – 1955.
