Our Dix Hills branch has a Cricut Maker available for patron-use. A Cricut Maker is able to cut, score, and add decorative effects on a range of materials. These materials include:
- Vinyl
- Cardstock
- Sticker paper
- Iron-on material
- Posterboard
- Faux Leather
Design Possibilities
Any design within the constraints of our Makerspace Policy can be designed for use with the Cricut. Patrons must bring in their own materials for the Cricut (such as vinyl), they are not supplied or available for purchase at the library.
Patrons must have a Cricut account to use a Cricut.
Interested in Using the Cricut Maker?
Use of the Cricut at the Half Hollow Hills Community Library must be done by appointment (walk-ins are welcome when there is a staff member available and the space is not in use). Fill out the form below to schedule an appointment on the Cricut. A member of the library staff will reach out to you in 24-48 hours from form submission to confirm a date and time for your appointment.
