Come and Stranger in Paradise in this tribute to Tony Bennett by Plaza Theatrical

The Annual Budget Vote & Trustee Election is Tuesday, April 28, 2009,
9:30 am – 9 pm at the Dix Hills building. If you cannot vote in person,
you may be eligible to vote absentee. Remember that filing for an absentee
ballot is a multi-step process: application, ballot, vote.
You may pick up an application at the Library (DH or M); call 421-4530,
ext. 350 to have one mailed to you or get it online at the Library’s
web site: http://hhhlibrary.org. Applications
can be mailed directly to family members away at college. Return the signed
application to the Library in person or by mail. You may personally pick
up a ballot between Monday, March 2 and Monday, April 27, 9:30 am –
5 pm weekdays (call us to make other arrangements). To receive the ballot
by mail, we must receive the signed application by Tuesday, April 21, 5
pm. NOTE: By NYS law, the ballot must be mailed or handed personally to
the voter. The completed ballot must reach the Library no later than 5 pm
on April 28. It may be returned by someone other than the voter. Look for
a separate mailing with information about the 2009-2010 budget in early
April.
