@ Your Library
Happy 2010! With this New Year we continue to make customer service and convenience to you, our highest priority.

Register for programs online: Each issue of the First R has a code next to the program if online registration is an option. It is as easy as placing a reserve. This will save you a trip or telephone call to the Library (you will still be able to do it the old- fashioned way, if you prefer). You can also go to the Library’s webpage, click on the ‘Calendar’ link, find a specific program and register by clicking on the link. Be sure to enter your current email address and telephone number so we can contact you. We hope to begin taking online registration for paid programs sometime in 2010. Stay tuned.
Pay your fines online: You have the option of paying fines from your home or Library computer using Visa or MasterCard. log in to your library account and click on the fines link to see a list of the money you owe. If you owe more than $5 you will see a “Pay Your Library Fines Online” button. Clicking that button will open up a new, secure window. A receipt screen will appear once the transaction is completed; print this for your records. After the transaction is completed, you will be returned to your library account and the fine will be removed.

If you have any questions or would like to contact me, Michele Lauer-Bader, Library Director, please call me at (631) 421-4530, ext. 348 or email me at: mlauerba@suffolk.lib.ny.us
