BYOC LAN Party Wednesday, July 30, 4-8 pm (DH) We are hosting a BYOC LAN party. Bring your own computer and games, and we will supply the power, the network cabling, and refreshments. You must be 17 or older to attend. Space is limited to 10. Telephone 421-4530, ext. 320, beginning 7/16 to register. Walk-In Adventures In Art Location: Melville, Dix Hills Walk-In Adventures In Art Come and enjoy doing art projects. Stay as long as it takes to complete your project. It’s fun for all ages (younger children must be accompanied by an adult). No registration. (No walk-ins 1/2 hour before end of session!) New English Speakers' Casual Conversation Practice Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm Location: Dix Hills Meets in Conference Room on the Lower Level of the Library each Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Practice freely without tests, pressure or criticism. Join us to share the joys and difficulties of learning to speak English. We can help you get free English language-learning materials, And offer general assistance with the challenges of living in the U.S. All who wish to practice their English are welcome.
