Create an Account

If this is your first time logging in, simply enter your library card number at the Log In screen and create an 8 character password on the same screen. On the next screen, you will be prompted to enter the password again 2 more times. Once that's done, you will be in your library account.

**Recommended** Click on "Change Your Contact Information" and add your e-mail address. That will allow you to retrieve your password if you forget it.

Request an Item
Find the item using the Library catalog, click on the REQUEST ITEM text that appears at the top of the screen. You will be prompted to type in your library barcode and password. When your item is ready for pick up you will be contacted by email or phone. Items will be held for 3 DAYS from the date of notification unless you contact us to request an extension.

Self Pickup and Self Checkout
You can now pick up your own books on hold and check your items out using our convenient Self Checkout stations. To search for your holds, please look for your Hold ID, which is the first four letters of your last name and the last five digits of your library card barcode. To use the Self Checkout, use your library barcode or your username and your password. Our friendly staff is here to assist you.

If you have a valid email address, receipt of payment will be sent to the address you entered in step 4.

Renew an Item
Any circulating printed materials may be renewed by the borrower unless the item is on reserve. Renewals may be made in person at the library, or by telephone, and remotely by computer. Some A/V items may not be renewed.

Renewal of items borrowed from other libraries depend on the home library loan rules.

    3. If you cannot renew items, a message will appear on the screen. If you are successful, a new due
date will appear in the "STATUS" column. Always check the STATUS column for information on the success or failure of your renewal.

Freezing a hold allows you to delay delivery of your requested items for a period time. When placing the hold check the box under the freeze column. The hold will not be filled until you unfreeze it.
