General Information

Part time page, clerical and librarian positions: Applications are accepted continuously and
may be picked up at the Circulation Desk in either building or in the Administration Office in Dix Hills.

Full time positions: Civil Service Examinations required. Contact the Suffolk County Department of Civil Service, (631) 853-5500.

Part time Security Guard: Flex hours starting at $14.00 an hour. Fax resume to (631) 423-8946 or stop by and fill out an application.

Volunteer Information

The library offers adults two options for volunteering, computer tutoring in the library or providing delivery service to the homebound. We also offer high school and college students the opportunity to provide computer tutoring for community service credit.
